This event will also double-up as a send-off for our eleven graduating laser tech students. They are all anxious all to meet and connect with employers like for possible future employment.

The purpose of this event is to let our students and the public learn more about what happens behind the scenes in laser companies, and what it takes to join the industry. We have found out that most people have no idea as to what they can do with a laser education/degree, so this event is aimed at bridging that gap.

During the event you will be given a table to display your materials and wait for your turn to deliver a brief oral overview of what laser techs/engineers do on the job, and then encourage people to come to your table for more information/details. While on the podium you could use the computer already there with internet access and an overhead projector if you wish.

It's a great opportunity to get to know prospective future employees up-close while advancing the company name and brands. It may therefore, be a good idea to also bring in job descriptions/announcements. So, for companies like yours it's partially public service to ignite both interest in, and awareness of, laser careers.

There will be plenty of snacks during the event
