1. REPURPOSING -- If you are a manufacturer who wants to talk to your regional hospitals directly about their needs, the California Hospitals Association gave us the following key contacts:

We have added 5 new companies to our repurposing list HERE to provide to the State.
Also, here is a list from Sutter Health on their needs:
- Isolation gowns (Right now (4/2) This is Sutter's Top Need) Must be certified to ASTM or ASII Level-2
- Powered, air-purifying respirator (PAPR) Hoods (This is our second most needed item at the moment)
- N95 masks (we are also accepting KN95 masks as Donations)
- Hand Sanitizer
- Sanitizing Wipes
- Surgical masks
- Procedure masks
- Paper masks (with ties or elastic)
- Paper protective gowns
- Protective glasses/goggles
- Industrial face shields (e.g., industrial face shields)
- Painters smocks (impermeable)

2. SMALL BUSINESS ASSISTANCE -- Gov. Gavin Newsom focused on small business assistance in his afternoon presser today. Some focus points:
- Interest free deferral of sales/use tax up to $50,000 for businesses with less than $5 million in taxable sales.
- 90-day extension on all businesses filing a return for less than $1 million in taxes
- California Small Business Loan Guarantee Program (via IBank) $50 million in state funding, providing potential capital for individuals who do not qualify for federal funds.
