Dear Manufacturers,
I know that in these times of low unemployment, and high demand for skilled workers, many of you are having difficulties finding the skilled employees you need.

As part of our efforts to continue building the pipeline of skilled trades employees in the region, the Bay Area Community Colleges, regional Workforce Development Boards (WDB’s) and the Association of Manufacturers Bay Area are all working together with various organizations to build up our regional manufacturing apprenticeship programs.

Apprenticeships attract people into manufacturing careers, motivate employees, and help to ensure that we are building a pipeline of highly skilled employees for the your company (and the region).

1) If your company is CURRENTLY offering a DAS / DOL manufacturing apprenticeship (or have one in the works), I’d like to include the information on my apprenticeship page. I send this info out to faculty, teachers, students, workforce counselors, etc. to let people know about apprenticeship opportunities. If you’d like your company's apprenticeship program to be included, please input the information here.

or,

2) If your company does NOT have an apprenticeship program, but you're interested in learning more about it, let us know here, and we’ll get you the information you need.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,
Mark
