SEMI Foundation Support with CHIPS Act Funding
The CHIPS Act presents a significant opportunity for manufacturing companies to drive workforce development initiatives. To this end, the SEMI Foundation offers guidance and support, customizable to specific needs, to companies submitting applications for CHIPS funding. The organization can help develop both pre-applications and full applications, as well as serve as a workforce development program partner. Manex Offers Employment Training Panel Funds for NorCal Manufacturers
Manex, the NIST MEP Manufacturing Center for Bay Area and Sacramento regions, has received a new multi-employer Employment Training Panel (ETP) contract through March 2025. ETP fulfills its mission by reimbursing the cost of employer-driven training for incumbent workers and funding the type of training needed by unemployed workers to reenter the workforce.
