Dear Manufacturing Colleagues,

Please save the date for the Laney College Manufacturing Job Fair being held on May 3 (Tuesday) at Laney College in Oakland. This is a chance to:

 

1)      Meet potential hires (and accept resumes) if hiring now or in the near future.

2)      See and learn about manufacturing training programs we have at Laney (machining, industrial maintenance, welding, wood tech, carpentry, HVAC, energy efficiency, electrical, electronics, etc.) - including the new certificate we are developing, QC inspection.

3)      Help build the reputation of Bay Area manufacturing by educating students about the great opportunities in this area.

 

If you have any questions, please let me know.  This is part of the larger Laney Job Fair, so if you’re hiring for other non-manufacturing positions, bring that information as well. 

Also, please feel free to forward to other companies. We’ll follow up the week before with directions, parking passes, etc. Lunch will be provided.
