Dear Manufacturers,
Chabot College (in Hayward) is looking for a full-time machine technology faculty. Applications are due 11/30.

If you would be interested, or have an employee that you think would be a good fit, please let them know about this opportunity. I recognize the idea of losing a great employee isn’t something you’d like, but if the college can find a strong, experienced candidate to teach the next generation of machinists, this has the possibility of benefiting you down the road. Just think how many referrals that instructor could give you!

Typically, minimum quals for a teaching position are an associates degree (or equivalent) and 6 years of industry experience.

Chabot has a great program and facilities, and they recently passed a new bond measure so they’re well-funded.
