Dear Industry Colleagues,

In October, I sent out a survey to gather information about what type of skills manufacturing companies needed for their industrial maintenance employees.

We received a strong response (over 21 companies - see below) and used that for our first industry meeting in November. We are now looking for more input and would like to get 30 - 40 additional companies across a wide range of industry sectors for our next meeting on February 2 (save the date).

The responses we receive will help guide the community colleges in developing new classes to train students (and existing employees) as industrial maintenance technicians / mechanics.
