Purpose of Meeting
One purpose of the meeting is to determine if there is enough interest on behalf of employers and community colleges in joining forces to meet IMTM and related workforce needs. Likewise, a primary agenda item, agreed to when last we met, is to get detailed industry input on community college curriculum and course/program offerings related to IMTMs in hopes of meeting the mutual goal of well qualified candidates for job openings across the region. We will likewise revisit the other priorities identified at the exploratory meeting held Oct 14, 2016 and hopefully hear from students who are currently pursuing IMTM related training in hopes of rewarding careers.
