If you’d like your kids, family, teachers in your kid’s schools, or others to see how things are made, and to understand what the skilled trades are about, then have them come to the Laney College Open House in Oakland on April 29th.
They'll have a chance to visit more than 18 departments that prepare students for careers in industry. Meet faculty, students, and see demonstrations. You can find out about how long the training takes, the salaries in the field, and the career opportunities.
We’ll also have sessions on how to register for classes and how to sign-up for financial aid. Bring your family, friends, and teachers to see one of the best kept secrets in the Bay Area!
