Dear Manufacturers,
Ohlone College in Newark (39399 Cherry St.) is having  a “Night of Science” for elementary and middle schoolers.

They’re looking for manufacturers who might have cool stuff to demonstrate that would capture the imagination of school-age kids. If you have something, and would like to be a part of this event, please contact Samantha Miller at the Alameda County Workforce Development Board (copied on this email).

And be sure and let your employees know about this event as well. The more kids in attendance the merrier. A flyer is attached, and website is at:

Regards,
Mark

Please find attached the flyer for the Ohlone Night of Science I mentioned to both of you. This is a highly-interactive event for thousands of elementary and middle school kids and their parents to learn about science. This year, we are bringing a manufacturing element to the science fair under the banner “Made in the Bay Area” (to support National Manufacturing Day). ACWDB is inviting manufacturing businesses with an exciting product/or way to share a product to participate. It’s a great opportunity for businesses to reach students and market to adults.

We’d like to get the businesses committed by this week if possible.

Thank you,
Samantha Miller
