Dear manufacturers,
There are a couple of events coming up that you might be interested in.

Regards,
Mark

1) HIRING IN A PANDEMIC WORLD (webinar)
The Alameda County Workforce Development Board in association with the California Employers Association will be hosting an employer webinar in support of Manufacturing Month in October. This webinar will provide strategies for manufacturers on Hiring in a Pandemic World and how to navigate the many dynamics affecting recruitment so companies can find the talent they need. This webinar is free for Alameda County businesses.

2) SKILLED TRADES SCHOLARSHIP GOLF BENEFIT

The Association of Manufacturers Bay Area (AMBayArea) and Bay Area Community Colleges (BACC) have partnered to host the inaugural AMBayArea/BACC Golf Benefit to provide an afternoon of golfing and networking while raising funds for students studying the skilled trades.

Net proceeds from the event will be used to establish an AMBayArea Scholarship Fund for students in the manufacturing skilled trades, including machining, electronics, QC, welding, CAD, industrial maintenance, and more.

Registration includes greens fees (9-hole, par 3 walking course) and boxed lunch. Sponsorships available, and even if you can’t attend, you can still donate at the registration site!
