Dear Manufacturing Colleagues,
The Bay Area Community Colleges and AMBayArea are working to expand manufacturing apprenticeships throughout the region.

Apprenticeships are a proven way to help you meet your needs for skilled trades employees. The concept is simple -- someone working full-time for your company is mentored, and takes courses that help them become skilled in one of the trades - such as machining, industrial maintenance, quality control, electronics, welding, etc..

You can choose to build your own company program or the option exists to utilize programs like CTMAA (CalMachinist.com) - a non-profit that will manage the apprenticeship for you, seek funding from state and federal grants, track progress, and handle reporting.

If you're interested - and who isn't these days with the shortage of qualified technical staff - take a few moments to fill out this brief survey and we'll be in contact.

Thanks,
Mark
