Hi,
Are you ready to explore a new career? Have you ever considered the skilled trades?

There are thousands of skilled trades jobs available in the Bay Area, almost all with benefits, with entry-level wages from $20 - $25 / hour. And with further education and experience, wages can go up to $35 - $50 / hour and higher.

The skilled trades are an interesting and challenging career, and there are Bay Area companies producing spacecraft, autonomous cars, clean-tech technologies, food & beverages, medical products; fixing cars and aircraft; and helping to maintain our infrastructure (water, wastewater, transportation)! There are a wide range of opportunities available.

The Bay Area Community Colleges are piloting a new course that will give you an introduction to a variety of skilled trades. This free, 5-week class meets everyday (Monday - Friday), 9am - 4pm and gives you information to help you decide which career might be best for you, how to find a job in that career, and how you can get further education to become skilled in each trade.
